Michael A. Ewing

Michael A. Ewing
An experienced banker with over 38 years of experience in the financial field. He assisted in organizing Oak View National Bank and was appointed as Director, President, CEO. Previously, Mr. Ewing was President and CEO of Marshall National Bank and Trust Company between 2003 and 2007. Before rejoining Marshall National Bank as President and CEO, Mr. Ewing led a successful 3 year recovery effort at F&M - West Virginia. Before that, he led a turnaround at Marshall National Bank as Senior Credit Officer in the early 1990s. Mr. Ewing was instrumental in returning the bank to a satisfactory status in less than 3 years. His early career began at Farm Credit Service, an agricultural cooperative, providing credit mainly to farming operations. He also served as a commercial lender at First American Bank of Virginia. Mr. Ewing earned a BS in Agricultural Economics from Virginia Tech in 1980 and has attended numerous banking schools throughout his professional career. Mr. Ewing's family has resided continuously in the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1727.
Kevin A. Lee

Kevin A. Lee
Mr. Lee began his banking career in 1992 as a management trainee and progressed quickly up through the ranks within the lending area of banking. For 6 years he held the position of Commercial Loan Officer and for 8 years he served as an Executive Officer. He is a seasoned bank executive with considerable expertise in the lending area; has been instrumental in maintaining a strong credit culture while achieving robust growth in loan portfolios. Mr. Lee is a graduate from Bridgewater College with a BS degree in Business Administration. He has attended numerous banking schools throughout his career. Mr. Lee and his family are lifelong residents of Fauquier County.
Randolph S. E. Carter

Randolph S. E. Carter
Mr. Carter was employed at Clark Brothers Company, in Warrenton, VA, as manager and buyer for 47 years until his retirement. Clark Brothers is a sporting goods business serving Northern Virginia hunters and fishermen. He served on the Board of Directors of Marshall National Bank and Trust from 1995 until 2007. He is a former member and chairman of the Warrenton Board of Zoning Appeals and past Chairman of the Rappahannock Scenic River Advisory Board. Mr. Carter graduated from Lynchburg College in 1965 with a BA in history prior to serving in the Navy as an intelligence duty officer. Mr. Carter's family has resided continuously in Virginia since the 1600's. He spends his time operating the family farm, which his family has owned since 1724.
Earl H. Douple, Jr.

Earl H. Douple, Jr.
Mr. Douple has been the business manager and Secretary-Treasurer of Canopy, Inc., a personal services firm, and The Plains Redevelopment Corporation, a real estate holding company, both located in The Plains, VA, since 1985. In addition to receiving his BA from Dickinson College, Mr. Douple holds a LLM from Georgetown University and a MBA from The Darden School, University of Virginia. His thirty years of professional experience include tax, estate and financial planning, asset management and allocation of financial holdings among various asset classes. Mr. Douple has been a member of the Board since the bank opened and was elected Chairman in 2018. Mr. Douple is a co-founder of The Plains Park Authority and a member of the board of Turn The Mill Around Campaign, a non-profit organization dedicated to stabilizing and interpreting the ruins of Chapman’s Mill, a historic landmark located on the outskirts of Haymarket, VA. He is also a former member of the Fauquier County Water & Sanitation Authority, a local public utility, and The Plains Board of Zoning Appeals.
Alvin F. Henry

Alvin F. Henry
Mr. Henry is a 1980 graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in marketing management. He was employed from 1980 to 1986 by the Farm Credit System as a loan officer and appraiser in the Warrenton area. From 1986 to the present, Mr. Henry has been the owner of Alvin F. Henry Appraisals. His primary appraisals are residential, vacant land and farms. Mr. Henry works for various local banks, lawyers and individuals. Mr. Henry served on the Marshall National Bank and Trust Board of Directors for approximately 4 years. He is a past Supervisor for the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors and serves now on the Planning Commission for Rappahannock County. He is a member of the Rappahannock County Farmland Preservation Committee and a member of the Amissville Methodist Church, which he serves as financial chairman.
Mark J. Ohrstrom

Mark J. Ohrstrom
Mr. Ohrstrom has been the President and Chief Investment Officer of Larkspur Management, the Ohrstrom family investment office, in The Plains, VA since 1997. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Rockwood Serves Corporation; Advanced Systems Technologies, Inc.; British Movietone News Ltd.; and Larkspur Investment Holdings. Mr. Ohrstrom graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Shenandoah University in 1992 and served in the US Army from 1983 to 1986 as a member of the Airborne Infantry, 18 months in the Republic of Korea. He is currently Deputy Chairman and board member of the Piedmont Environmental Council; Treasurer and board member of Earth University Foundation (Costa Rican University); and the John S. Mosby Museum Foundation. He is also a Trustee and active member of various committees at Shenandoah University.

Hanna Lee Rodriguez
Ms. Rodriguez received her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law from Pensacola Christian College. She is a partner with the Warrenton office of Walker Jones, PC, with a focus in estate planning, probate and trust administration. Ms. Rodriguez also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for incapacitated adults in Fauquier, Rappahannock, Prince William and Fairfax counties. Active in the community, Ms. Rodriguez serves as Vice President of the Mental Health Association of Fauquier County and as a member of PATH Foundation Grants Committee. She is a past Players Committee Representative of the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, a past president of the Fauquier County Bar Association and a past secretary of the Fauquier Free Clinic. She is an active member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Virginia State Bar; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. When not working or volunteering, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with her family and playing music as a violinist with the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Royston founded Countryside Family Practice in the Village of Marshall and has served in continuous, full-time practice as its senior physician since 1976. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia with a BA degree in 1969. He received his MD degree from The Medical College of Virginia in 1973 and has held privileges at Fauquier and Fairfax hospitals since 1976. He is past president of The Medical Society of Virginia, former president of the Fauquier County Medical Society, former member of the Board of Directors of The Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, former Chairman of the Medical School Dean's Advisory Committee at MCV and numerous other memberships and leadership roles in medical and local organizations. The Royston family has resided continuously in Virginia since 1635.
Jean Taylor

Jean Taylor
Ms. Taylor is a Senior Consultant Federal Services, Cyber Defense with Coalfire, an independent cyber management company. She has worked in the Information Assurance/Cybersecurity field for over 18 years supporting the delivery of cutting edge, innovative Information Security Continuous Monitoring and Governance support for DoD and Intelligence communities, Fortune 500 companies, and Federal Agencies. She has extensive experience in project management; information technology; cybersecurity; compliance; security assessments; and certification and accreditation processes. In 2002, Ms. Taylor, in collaboration with her husband and business partner Dennis Taylor, co-launched Paradigm Solutions, a leading Virginia-based business and management consulting firm serving Fauquier, Culpeper, Loudon, Fairfax, Prince William, Spotsylvania, and Stafford. Together, they have provided solutions to their clients that include: business consulting and coaching; organizational assessments; process reviews and improvement; business and strategic planning; marketing planning; and project management.
Maj. Gen. Randall L. West

Maj. Gen. Randall L. West
Randall L. West joined Robison International, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based defense and public relations consulting firm, in August of 2001 as Vice President. He became President in January 2006. Prior to joining Robison, Gen. West served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs and as a Major General in the U. S. Marine Corps. This was his last assignment at the end of a 35-year career. During that time, he also served as Legislative Assistant to the Commandant of the Marine Corps; as Special Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of Defense; as a Legislative Fellow in the Office of Representative Bill Young; and as a Marine Aviator. He flew A6s in Vietnam and AH1s and UH1s in Desert Storm, where he was a Composite Aircraft Group Commander. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina; has an MBA from Auburn University; and a Masters in National Security from the Naval War College. He serves on the Boards of Directors for Paralyzed Veterans of American's Outdoor Sports Heritage Fund, Operation Homefront, The Armed Forces Foundation, and the West Virginia Severely Wounded Foundation. He is a member of the White House Commission on Remembrance. He is married to the former Robin Lane; they have six children and live in Fauquier County, Virginia.
Sarah J. Yakel

Sarah J. Yakel
Ms. Yakel, Partner with Meridian Financial Partners, received her degree in Trust Management and Financial Planning from Campbell University. She is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. With more than 20 years of experience in investment and trusts, Ms. Yakel has an ability to clearly communicate a client’s unique path to financial peace of mind. Active in the community, Ms. Yakel is a founding member of Leadership Fauquier, a leadership development organization, and enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits. She is currently serving as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce. When not working or volunteering, Ms. Yakel enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and indulging her love of cooking and traveling.
Donald R. Yowell

Donald R. Yowell
Mr. Yowell has lived and worked in Fauquier County all his life. He is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia. He spent his entire 42 year banking career at Marshall National Bank and Trust Company where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1991 to his retirement in 2002. He served on the Board of Directors for many years and as Chairman beginning in 2005 until 2018. He is a past president of the Virginia Association of Community Banks and a former trustee of the Virginia Bankers Association Benefits Corporation, and he has, over the years, served on many committees of the VBA. In addition to his banking dossier, he was a director of the Marshall Business and Residents' Association; a director of the Fauquier Heritage and Preservation Foundation; a trustee of the Marshall Cemetery; and a member of the committee for the grand opening of the Northern Fauquier Sports Complex. He is a charter and lifetime member of the Marshall Volunteer Rescue Squad and a deacon of the Marshall Baptist Church. Over the years, he has also served on the Fauquier County School Board Selection Commission; a director of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce; and a board member of the Fauquier Committee for Excellence in Education. In 2002, he was honored as the Fauquier County Business Person of the Year.
