Secondary Market Mortgages
Most mortgages in the United States are secondary-market loans. While you apply for your mortgage with Oak View, your loan is purchased and serviced by another lender. This limits flexibility, but you can choose from more interest rate options that we are able to offer with our in-house mortgages.
Other must-know features of our secondary mortgages include:
- Fixed rate mortgages and adjustable rate mortgages are available
- Closing costs (Attorney, Appraisal, Title Insurance, Recording Fees, etc.) included
- Multiple private mortgage insurance (PMI) options are available for higher loan-to-values
- No escrow of hazard insurance, real estate taxes, etc.
- Optional rate buy-downs with discount points
- Pre-qualification is available, at no cost to you, even before you start house hunting. Our pre-qualification letter may make your purchase contract more attractive to a seller.
- Loan applications are taken by Oak View National Bank
- We process the application and help you through the process
